A leader in the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Bode George, said he was taken aback by the news of presidential aspirant, Peter Obi, who dumped the party.

George, in an interview with Channels TV, said though he was not aware of the reasons behind Obi’s action, he considered the situation a ‘pitiful’ scenario.

”For him to have dumped the party, I don’t know why but it’s a pity, life is full of a lot of imponderables, you can’t win it all the time,” George said.

The politician expressed his respect for Obi and lauded him as a very resourceful man.
