Cc: @EUinNigeria,” INEC wrote.
The 2023 General Election started with the Presidential and National Assembly Election which was held on the 25th of February, 2023. Followed by the Governorship and States House of Assembly election, which was held on the 18th of March, 2023.
However, various reactions have followed the conduct of the elections, most especially the presidential election which some people and political parties believe was compromised by the INEC.
Meanwhile, some political parties are challenging the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the election petition tribunal, while some international and national election observers thought that the election was free and fair, except for some little itches during the elections.
Receiving the report from the members of EU-EOM, was the Chairman of the INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, and other National Commissioners of the commission.
