The 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso, on Saturday, joined the Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, at a special prayer session for the state and nation.
The Governor made this known in a statement he signed and issued after the meeting, sharing pictures from the event.
According to the statement, the prayer session is part of a lineup of activities by the governor in seeking for relief from the present economic situation in the country.
It read, “Today, we were joined by our National Leader, Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and other good people of Kano State, at a special prayer session organised to seek for succour and guidance in the affairs of our dear state and the country.
“The prayer session is part of a lineup of activities by our government in seeking for relief from the present economic situation. – AKY”
Meanwhile, the governor, in company if Kwankwaso, also attended the wedding fatiha of his Senior Special Assistant on Special Duties, Safwan Garba and his bride, Maryam Abdulkadir Dantata.
Also sharing pictures from the ceremony, he wrote, “I congratulate them on this noble occasion, and wish them a lifetime of martial bliss. – AKY”
