The President-elect of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu paid a courtesy visit to the Oba of Lagos, Oba Ridwan Akiolu, on Sunday February 5, 2023.
Asiwaju Tinubu, who went there, in the company of the Lagos State governor and the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the coming governorship election in Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, visited Kabiesi at his Iga-Iduganran palace in Lagos Island.
The purpose of the visit was to present the President-elect’s certificate of return to Oba of Lagos and Lagosians in general.
Asiwaju Tinubu, who contested for the last Saturday’s presidential election under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, was declared winner of the election early morning on Wednesday March 1, 2023, after polling the highest votes of 8,794,726, and was given a certificate of return, the same day.
