The presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the just-concluded presidential election in Nigeria, Gregory Peter Obi, has stated that his decision for a new Nigeria can not compromised.
Obi stated this on Thursday, during his first press conference after the presidential election won by the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who was adjudged winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The former Anambra State governor who polled over six million votes and won 12 states believes that he won last Saturday’s election.
Obi who refused to concede defeat noted that the result of the election will be challenged in court.
The presidential election was conducted on Saturday 25, 2023 and the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was declared winner of the election, after polling a score of 8, 794, 726 votes.
