Former Senate President Bukola Saraki has congratulated the governor of Adamawa state, Ahmadu Fintiri, on the celebration of his 56th birthday anniversary.
Saraki in a statement on his X account on Friday, October 27, described Fintiri as a man of ‘candour and uncommon leadership.
The Adamawa state governor who was born on the 27th of October, 1967, spent his first term tenor as the governor of the state, from May 29, 2019, to May 29, 2023.
However, he won his reelection bid for the second term in office under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, in a tight race with the candidate of All Progressives Congress, Aishatu Dairu Binani, in the March 18 governorship election in the state.
Celebrating him on his birthday, Saraki prayed that Almighty Allah continues to grant him good health and strength, to be useful for the people of Adamawa and the entire nation.
“Today, I join Nigerians across the country to congratulate a man of candour and uncommon leadership — the Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri @GovernorAUF — as he celebrates his 56th birthday.
“I pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) continues to grant you good health and strength as you serve the great people of Adamawa State and the entire nation,” Saraki tweeted.
