Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, has urged the Labour Party 2023 Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi, to remove pockets from his attire since he doesn’t use it.
Sani made this statement sarcastically, as he congratulated the former Anambra State Governor on the ocassion of his 62nd birthday on Wednesday, July 19.
The banter could be deduced to mean Obi is not a “lavish spender” as common with politicians.
Sharing his congratulatory remarks on his Twitter handle, he wrote, “Happy 62nd Birthday to my friend @PeterObi ;Your Excellency,pls tell your tailor to remove pockets from your attire since you don’t use it.”
