Vice President Kashim Shettima has condoled with Mele Kyari, Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, over the passing of his 25-year-old daughter, Fatima.
Fatima Kyari died on Friday, October 11, in Abuja. Vice President Shettima attended her funeral prayers at the Annur Mosque in Abuja, where he joined other mourners in paying their respects, according to Politics Nigeria.
During the funeral, Shettima prayed for the peaceful repose of Fatima’s soul and asked God to grant the Kyari family the strength to bear the painful loss of their daughter.
The Vice President’s presence at the funeral was a demonstration of solidarity with the Kyari family during this difficult time. Other friends and associates of the family also attended the funeral to show their support.
Fatima’s passing is a tragic loss for the Kyari family, and the Vice President’s condolences reflect the nation’s sympathy for their bereavement.
