The presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the last presidential election in Nigeria, Gregory Peter Obi passed through Delta state today, to say a big thank you to his teeming supporters, known as the ‘Obidients family’ in the state.
The former governor of Anambra State, lost in the Saturday February 25 presidential election, after polling a score of 6, 101,533 votes.
Meanwhile, his major contender in the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed was declared winner of the election, after polling a score of 8,726,724 votes.
However, Obi, who came third in the election and the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who came second with a score of 6,984,520 votes, have since rejected the outcome of the election and promised to seek redress in court.
Mr Obi, who has been busy with his legal team, after the February 25 presidential election, visited his supporters in Delta state, to say a big thank you to them, for remaining steadfast.
“I’m passing through Delta State- a propitious moment to say a big thank you to the Delta OBIdients for remaining steadfast. -PO.”
