Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, representing Ondo South senatorial district, has called on President Bola Tinubu to dissolve his cabinet immediately.
Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Wednesday, Ibrahim, a member of the Appropriation Committee in the Senate, expressed concerns about the competence of President Tinubu’s ministers.
“You have to dissolve the cabinet. You have to come up with knowledgeable people. The cabinet is too cold,” he said.
Ibrahim argued that the current ministers do not meet the standard required for Nigeria’s economic challenges since President Tinubu assumed office.
“If you fail to do that, you will be carrying their burdens and that will be terrible for our country. You have to dissolve the cabinet, you have to come up with knowledgeable people, the cabinet is too cold and some of them accused of corruption should be dropped,” he emphasized.
