The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu has cast his vote at a polling unit around Bourdillion, Ikoyi, Lagos State.
The presidential hopeful voted alongside his wife, Senator Oluremi and other party chieftains.
Addressing reporters, he said “democracy is here to stay” in Nigeria.
The APC flag bearer is one of the major contenders in the race for Aso Rock.
Tinubu’s major contenders include Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party.
