President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday chaired the Federal Executive Council meeting, marking its resumption after a six-week hiatus.
According to the Nation, “the meeting is being attended by almost all members of the cabinet, except for the vice president and the National Security Adviser.”
At the previous FEC session on May 13 and 14, discussions centered on more than 20 memoranda, notably focusing on a new initiative aimed at bolstering economic growth through investments in housing and infrastructure projects.
This session convenes amidst prevalent socio-economic challenges, highlighted by escalating inflation and unresolved national minimum wage deliberations.
The FEC gathering aims to address these critical issues comprehensively, seeking viable solutions to propel national advancement.
