President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, received the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, and the members of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, led by its Chairman, the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq.
Tinubu received Shettima and the members of the NGF, who paid him a visit at his Lagos residence on Tuesday afternoon.
The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, on New Media, Jubril Gawat, had earlier announced on his official X handle, that the NGF members who held a meeting at the Lagos House, Marina, were on their way to the President’s Lagos home.
“The Nigeria Governors’ Forum under the leadership of Governor @RealAARahman converged on Lagos, House Marina this afternoon. They are on their way to Mr President’s Residence in Lagos,” Gawat tweeted.
However, the Nigeria Television Authority in a video clip with a caption on its official X handle, shows how Tinubu received the Governors and the Vice President.
“The Vice President of Nigeria, H.E Kashim Shettima and the Nigeria Governors’ Forum led by its Chairman and the Executive Governor of Kwara State @RealAARahman arrive at the Mr President’s residence in Lagos to pay homage to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” NTA tweeted.
