A Special Adviser on Digital Media Strategy to the 2023 Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Demola Olanrewaju, has berated President Bola Tinubu, over the cancellation of a ministerial nominee’s name from the second list he sent to the senate for screening on Friday.
Olanrewaju who knocked the president for his action through a Twitter post, said the former Lagos governor is running a trial-and-error government.
Premium Politics had earlier reported that Tinubu sent the second batch of his ministerial nominees’ list, containing 19 names to the Senate on Wednesday, to consolidate the first batch of his list.
It was reported that Mariam Shetty’s name was on the second list, which they were to be screened on Friday, but unfortunately, Shetty’s name has been replaced with the name of another politician from the same Kano State, where she comes from.
However, she felt so disappointed to learn that her name was no more on the list when she got to the Senate for screening on Friday.
Reacting to the development, Olanrawaju wrote: “APC is making it up as they go along as usual, but Nigeria is not the Lagos where skill and talent abound and any Govt appointment brings competence built by years of personal experience.
“Bola Tinubu is running a trial and error administration and Nigeria will be worse for it.”
