Former spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar’s 2023 presidential campaign council, Daniel Bwala, has advised Nigerians to be patient regarding President Bola Tinubu’s planned cabinet reshuffle.
During an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Bwala emphasized that the timing of the reshuffle lies solely with President Tinubu.
According to Bwala, “He will do it when he wants to do it. The good thing is that he must have formed his own opinion based on assessment when they introduced this KPI assessment, and any minister who has not been able to meet up with this assessment will be able to know.”
Bwala highlighted President Tinubu’s role in evaluating his ministers, “It is the President who is now the overall assessor. He even engaged the Nigerian people, he said ‘go and talk to them about the programme and he will do it when he will do it.”
Bwala urged Nigerians to trust the process and be patient, “I want to urge Nigerians to have the patience, the President will do it. It can be tonight, it can be tomorrow, it can be anytime.”
He noted that President Tinubu is likely making decisions based on his ministers’ Key Performance Indicators assessments, introduced earlier.
