A member of the Peoples Democratic Party’s National Working Committee, Tim Osadolor, has claimed that the economic policies of President Bola Tinubu is luring hungry politicians to decamp to the All Progressives Congress.
He maintained that the ruling party is attempting to establish a one-party state in Nigeria, a charge that the APC has vehemently denied on multiple occasions.
Osadolor insisted that the policies implemented by the federal government under President Bola Tinubu’s leadership have had a devastating impact on the country.
He reiterated that these policies have deliberately exacerbated poverty and made life unbearable for many Nigerians, including those who were previously able to live comfortably, according to Politics Nigeria.
“Not everyone has the capacity and wherewithal to resist or defeat hunger. A hungry man cannot make sane decisions most of the time,” he added.
He said many opposition politicians were “hungry, tired and struggling to get by, and they think joining the APC would bring succour.”
Osadolor, who is also the national deputy youth leader of the PDP, said the Damagun-led NWC was trying its best, but the defectors want to make it look as if there is leadership failure.
