The representatives of the Federal Government and the Nigeria Labour Congress are currently meeting at the presidential villa, Aso Rock in Abuja.
The first meeting which ended in a deadlock on Thursday last week, June 1, was reportedly for the parties to reach a compromise concerning the sudden fuel subsidy removal and its implications.
A second meeting was scheduled over the weekend, however, only the Trade Union Congress attended with the NLC representatives absent.
All eyes are on the NLC to see if they would proceed with the planned nationwide strike on Wednesday or call it off.
