The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has advised the people of Benue State to vote for candidates who share their pains.
According to Daily Post, Peter Obi stated this on Friday, while addressing his supporters in Gboko Local Government Area of the state.
“Vote for those people who know you and know your pains. Next year please, vote for the right persons. We want a Benue where children will be in school and everything will be normal,” he said
The former governor of Anambra also stated that the people should vote for leaders who are capable of restoring normalcy back to the State.
Benue State in the past few months has been subjected to various herdsmen attacks which has left many of its people displaced.
