Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has highlighted his administration’s accomplishments, stating that they have exceeded expectations within the first one and a half years in office.
He expressed gratitude to the people of the state for their unwavering support and pledged to continue delivering on their expectations.
“I am largely satisfied with our programme implementation so far. We have surpassed expectations and targets within one and a half years in office,” Governor Adeleke affirmed during a meeting with his policy coordinating unit, as stated by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed.
He further emphasized the positive feedback received from the public, citing high ratings in workers’ welfare, infrastructure, health, and education. Adeleke underscored the importance of maintaining momentum as the administration approaches the mid-term mark in the next six months.
“Our party has also become very entrenched across the local governments. Leaders who were not with me during the guber primaries are now solidly with us,” he noted, highlighting the growing support for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
Adeleke emphasized the balanced approach of his administration, focusing on both physical infrastructure and human development. He stressed the importance of proper coordination in policy design and implementation across various sectors, including power, digital economy, agriculture, economic planning, investment, sustainable development, youth development, and gender equality, all under the five-point agenda.
