The Lagos State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Olajide Adediran, popularly known as, Jandor, has revealed why he picked Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, as his running mate.
Jandor disclosed this on Channels TV, on Thursday.
When asked why he picked a “popular face” to be his running mate, Jandor said, “I didn’t choose Funke because she’s a popular face. I chose her because she’s qualified, even if she wants to be governor of this state…
“What is wrong with her? This is somebody that has invested so much in this economy, somebody who has been an employer of labour in this economy…”
