The Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, has urged protesters against the President Bola Tinubu administration to engage in dialogue.
The former Rivers State Governor assured them that the government is willing to listen and share insights on governance issues.
Speaking during the presentation of staff to four newly appointed chiefs in the territory, Wike commended FCT protesters for their nonviolent approach and urged them to continue resisting destructive elements.
He emphasized the significance of Abuja as the nation’s capital, warning that its destruction would have far-reaching consequences for the entire country, according to Independent.
The Minister’s appeal for dialogue aims to promote peaceful resolution of grievances and ensure the stability of the nation’s capital.
