A former member of the House of Representatives, who represented Bukkuyum/ Gummi federal constituency in Zamfara State, Hon. Sani Muhammad Takori, has advised the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, over his possible defection to the All Progressives Congress.
Takori who advised while speaking with newsmen in Guasau, the state capital, said that if Wike defects to the All Progressives Congress, he will be frustrated and humiliated.
Advising the FCT Minister to think twice, the former lawmaker said that when Abdulahi Adamu came on board as the APC national chairman, he was frustrated by the powers that be.
Takori claimed that since 27 Rivers State lawmakers who are loyal to Wike have defected, there is every indication that the former Rivers State Governor will also defect to the APC, “but he will regret it at last.”
He further stated that “if the 27 State lawmakers later decide to reject godfatherism, then Wike will be on his own”.
According to the former lawmaker, the minister has created serious political tension in Rivers State.
“Though the APC leaders are wooing him to defect to the party, promising to make him the leader of the party in his Statut if he defects, sorry will be his second name.
“If Wike defects to APC, he will meet his equals with different characters; if he is a betrayer, he will see betrayers, and if he is wicked, he will also meet more wicked people than himself,” Takori added.
The APC Chieftain however advised Wike to remain in the Peoples Democratic Party.
