Mallam Isa Gusau, the late Special Adviser on Strategic Communications to the Governor of Borno State, Babagana Zulum, has been scheduled to be buried on Sunday.
The burial programme for the late Gusau was released by the Borno State Government on Saturday, January 13, 2024.
The late Governorship Aide died in an undisclosed hospital in India on Thursday, after a prolonged illness.
However, in a statement released by the State Commissioner for Information and Internal Security on Saturday night, the state government disclosed that Gusau will be buried in Abuja on Sunday.
The statement explained that the remains of the deceased are expected to arrive in Abuja on Sunday afternoon, with the burial prayers scheduled for 4:00 pm at the Central Mosque in Abuja.
The deceased served as Special Adviser on Public Relations and Strategy to the then Governor of Borno State, now Vice President, Kashim Shettima, and also, the position he held in the current administration of the incumbent Governor, Zulum
